Yesturday in the middle of the night I couldn't sleep because you can hear the wind blowing so hard. It was around 7 something in the morning, right after my boyfriend left for work the lights went out. It was raining pretty hard. I called PG&E and the recording said they knew about the outage so it will be back on around 1PM - 3PM. It was like 12 in the afternoon I went out to look for food. As I was driving around I see mostly every fast food resturants closed except McDonald's, Krispy Kreme and In-n-Out. Didn't want any other these so I went to Serramonte. As I was passing by the whole mall looked empty. Only a few people where there. They had no light what so ever I don't know why people are still shopping in this kind of weather. So I decided to go to Burger King. I thought they were open as they had lights but when I pulled in the drive thru it said out of order, no power. So then I turned around and decided to go to Hawaiian Drive In. When I go there they too were close. Every I go had no power at all. So I had no choice but to go to In-n-Out.
Long story short they kept changing the times ever time I called. At first they said power will be back on between 1 - 3PM, then it went to 7 - 9PM, and then to (Saturday 01/05/08)2 - 4AM. We finally had power exactly 4:18AM.
When I went out to get dinner. It was like pitch black whole neighborhood had no power.
